Chelsea have been heavily criticised following the 1-0 loss to runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City.
A major focus in that game was Eden Hazard who got only 12 touches in the first half as Antonio Conte set his side up defensively with Hazard as the lone striker.
Hazard’s future has been thrown into doubt once again and Jamie Carragher says Hazard, who has been linked with a move to La Liga giants Real Madrid, would have quickly been on the phone to his agent asking to leave Chelsea after a frustrating afternoon.
“We’ve been in dressing rooms, he’s the star player at Chelsea,” the Liverpool legend said on Sky Sports alongside Gary Neville.
“There’s always talk of him moving on.
“I have no doubt at the end of that game as soon as he got on that coach or got home he’d have been right on the phone to his agent and saying ‘get me out of here’.
“Honestly, 100 per cent, he will have been that frustrated thinking ‘I should be playing in this team who’ve got the ball, I should be playing in a team that actually dominate the game, I’m Eden Hazard’.
“Running around up there on your own up front not getting a kick of the ball, he wants to show everyone in the world who’s watching how good a player he is.
“I think they’ll have a major problem going forward in keeping him after that.”
