According to talkSPORT pundit Jim White, Chelsea could become the new Arsenal if the Blues fail to make a statement in this summer’s transfer window by keep our best players and strengthening wisely.

“If @ChelseaFC want to still be regarded as one of Europe’s big clubs then they must make a statement this summer,” he said on Twitter.

“That means breaking the bank to keep their best players and bringing in decent new talent.

“Otherwise I fear they may become the new @Arsenal.”

Do you agree with White?

  1. If Abramovich is tired and has lost interest in this big club , its better for him to sell it to those with interest to run the club. We are fed up of the same stories, of the club always performing below par after winning the league the previous season. That is what happened during the 2014/15 season. Antonio Conte won us the title last season, how come he has now become a bad manager? Why is it that he is not being assisted at the club? He made a request to bring certain names to reenforce certain departments in the squad, but that didn’t work and at the same time you expect the team to perform well, how possible is that? Look at your rivals and the talent they are attracting to the team. How many coaches are you going to hire and fire after one season?

Very true the club is failing to settle with its sighnings but has become a broker of good players to any club in Europe willing to pay money, lukaku, Peter cech, debryune, matic, maechran, Salah, mata, Costa, etc and many, then fire and higher good coaches, it was going to be unfair for Barça to loose to Chelsea, Chelsea is capable of anything to the football world, please less get focused.
