N’Golo Kante missed the 1-0 loss at Manchester City on Sunday after passing out in the dressing room at Chelsea’s Cobham base last week.
The France midfielder was left out of Antonio Conte’s squad and it was revealed at the time that he had picked up an illness in the lead-up to the Etihad clash.
However, Kante fainted after training on Friday – two days before the game against Manchester City.
Kante’s team-mates were worried that he had suffered a heart problem as the Frenchman slumped in the corner of the dressing room after a training session on Friday.
The France international was later sent to a specialist for a series of cardiology tests which came back clear.
Kante trained with the rest of the team on Monday without any problems and has been given a clean bill of health ahead of Chelsea’s clash against Crystal Palace.
