Chelsea are yet to find a candidate to fill the vacant job of technical director, but reports claim the club have held talks with Luis Campos’ agent as they target Lille’s sporting director to replace Michael Emenalo.
Campos has previously worked under Jose Mourinho as a technical scout at Real Madrid and was also Monaco’s technical director, playing a key role in bringing Kylian Mbappe, Bernardo Silva, Thomas Lemar, Fabinho, and Tiemoue Bakayoko to the club.
Emenalo left Stamford Bridge in controversial circumstances back in November but joined Monaco as their sporting director just three weeks later, having stated he needed a break.
According to The Independent, Chelsea held talks with Campos’ representative in February and view the 53-year-old as a leading candidate for their vacant technical director role.
