Chelsea U18 side continued their good form with a 4-1 win over Brighton as the team won their 10th game in a row in impressive fashion on the south coast as they took a step closer to retaining their Under-18 Premier League southern title.

Morris made two changes from our victory over Leicester City three days previously, with Conor Gallagher starting among the substitutes following a knock sustained against the Foxes and Martell Taylor-Crossdale absent.

In a space of four minutes (between the 24th and 28th minute) the Seagulls were three goals down as goals from Charlie Brown, Billy Gilmour and George McEachran earned a healthy advantage for Jody Morris’s league leaders. Brighton did not go without opportunities of their own and hit the post before half-time, though Clinton Mola’s brilliant strike after an hour extinguished any hopes of a comeback.

A late goal denied us a sixth consecutive clean sheet.
