Chelsea have a difficult away trip to the King Power Stadium on Sunday for a quarterfinal clash against Leicester City in the FA Cup.
To win this game, Chelsea must be wary of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, and Antonio Conte has admitted that there’s a plan in place to clip the lively striker as he insisted that the team must focus on defence.
When asked if he has a special plan to stop Vardy, Conte told the media: “Special plans? Our special plan is to try to defend well.
“For sure we know about Vardy’s characteristics. He is a clever player. He is very good at attacking space and finding the right time to do. We must also pay great attention if they decide to play with [Kelechi] Iheanacho or [Shinji] Okazaki.”
