Chelsea were the better side against Barcelona at Stamford Bridge last month in the first leg of the second round tie between both sides. The game ended in a 1-1 draw but even Barca fans will agree that they had luck on their side.
Games between these two sides are usually strong and competitive, and the two rivals will meet again to decide the outcome of the tie next week Wednesday at the Camp Nou.
Interestingly, Michael Owen already thinks the Blaugrana are through to the next round as he named the three clubs Liverpool should fear in the Champions League after they progressed to the quarter-finals.
“It’s very hard because we don’t know who’s in there just yet,” Owen told BT Sport.
“They should fear Real [Madrid], Barca and Bayern [Munich], the normal suspects.
“You wouldn’t fancy Man City but then again Liverpool beat them a few weeks ago. They wouldn’t be quaking in their boots [if they drew City], put it that way.
“The big hitters are all there, there was a few comfortable teams in this round but the next one will be tough.”
