Real Madrid star Isco, has struggled to nail down a regular place in the Real Madrid team under Zinedine Zidane this season.

The 25-year-old has hinted that he is unhappy with life at the Santiago Bernabeu amid talks about a move to Chelsea during the summer.

Isco was key for Madrid last season but has failed to nail down a regular place in Zinedine Zidane’s side this term.

After scoring a hatrick for Spain in the 6-1 win against Argentina, Isco stated that he doesn’t know how to win the confidence of his manager at Real Madrid.

“I have the confidence of the coach [Julen Lopetegui] and maybe in Madrid I have not won that yet,” Isco told reporters after Spain’s victory in Madrid.

“That’s why the national team is so important for me as it gives me life.

“If I am not starting and don’t have continuity for my club then I must seize all my chances.

“I aim to be a starter for both my club and international team but the only way I can do that is to keep working hard.

“There are many great players at Real Madrid, maybe I am the problem. I don’t know how to win Zidane’s confidence.”
