Leicester City boss Claude Puel has accused Chelsea of time-wasting after Leicester were dumped out of the FA Cup in extra-time.
“They waste a lot of time and there was just one minute at the end. I think it was harsh. It would have been important to come back in the game,” Puel said.
“But they were trying to keep the result and to waste time because they have a lot of experience We can have other more time to try to come back.”
Pedro came off the bench to score the winner in extra-time after Jamie Vardy’s second-half goal cancelled out Alvaro Morata’s 42nd minute opener.
Puel also revealed his frustration at losing the game to Chelsea.
Puel added: “I am frustrated because we played well. We conceded the first goal just before the break which was a shame because it was a good first half.
“We come back in the second half with quality and push this team.
“We got back in the game with the goal of Jamie. And it is hard for my squad who gave their best.
“But we cannot blame Kasper.
“He has been fantastic since the beginning and made fantastic saves in the game. I am proud how they played with a fantastic attitude. We perhaps just need a bit more clinical edge.”
