Chelsea youngster Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been on loan to Crystal Palace as he joined the Eagles during the summer.
Loftus-Cheek has been in good form for Palace, and as Chelsea host the Eagles this evening in a very important clash, Loftus-Cheek admits that he’ll watch the game.
“Both teams need to win,” he told the official Chelsea website. “For Palace, a draw would be fantastic. The run of games they’ve had hasn’t been great but they’ve done well in a lot of those matches. They were unlucky against Man United but I think it will be a good game.
“Of course, always,’ he adds, when asked if he’s been keeping a close eye on the fortunes of his parent club.
“I think we have every chance of finishing in the top four if we can put a run together. It’s always a good game against Tottenham at the Bridge so that will be a big one in a few weeks.”
