David Luiz has been out injured since February 5 due to a knee injury which was aggravated by a challenge from Sergio Aguero over 15 months ago.
Chelsea have even sought help from a knee specialist in Spain to help with Luiz’s recovery, but the Brazilian has been unavailable for the most part of 2010.
However, The Sun claim Luiz is confident that he will be available for selection for Chelsea’s fixture against Tottenham on April 1.
Luiz has started only nine games in the Premier League this season, with Conte preferring Andreas Christensen at the heart of his three-man defence.
Conte will need all the help he can with Chelsea fighting hard for a top four spot.
