Chelsea have a crucial away clash against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium this evening, and nothing but a win will be deemed as good enough for Chelsea’s quest to qualify for the Champions League next season.
Michael Owen has revealed his prediction for the game, and the former Liverpool and Manchester United striker just like everyone else thinks City will carry the day.
Speaking ahead of the game, the BetVictor brand ambassador said: “Chelsea played their part in a very good game at Old Trafford last weekend but it is possible they will start their second game in a week in Manchester five points off a Champions League spot.
“Eden Hazard and Willian were outstanding, especially in the first 45 minutes, against United but the worry is the pair are carrying the Blues as an attacking threat of late. City will miss their midfield enforcer Fernandinho through injury, but they have won their last 13 home Premier League games scoring at least twice on every occasion.
“The League Cup winners have so much class that I cannot see past another home win.”
Owen predicted City will win 3-1.
Chelsea just have to defy the odds and get a victory in this game.
