Chelsea might have lost this game 3-0, but it was an unfair scoreline as the Blues missed so many opportunities to find the net and even hit the woodwork two times in the game.

See how the players fared in this game

Courtois: Had a poor game by his standards. Conceded two cheap goals and he was easily beaten in his near post for the first goal. 3/10

Azpilicueta: Made the error that led to the third goal which killed all Chelsea’s hopes to win the tie. Other than that, he gave a good account of himself. 5/10

Christensen: It was hard defending against the likes of Suarez and Messi, but the young defender put up a decent show. 5/10

Rudiger: Had a solid game, was hard to beat and even rattled the bar late in the game. 6/10

Fabregas: Made the mistake that led to the second goal, was good on the ball but his defensive shift was below par. 4/10

Kante: Was a rock in midfield, won lots of midfield battles and had a typical Kante performance. 7/10

Moses: Had a torrid time against Messi on the right flank, didn’t support the attack as he would have liked with Barcelona’s threat always coming from his area. 5/10

Alonso: Had a good game on the left flank, rattled the post from a free-kick and even had a penalty appeal turned down. 6.5/10

Hazard: Had a few spells, but was missing for most parts of the game. 5/10

Willian: Was Chelsea’s most exciting player going forward and caused Barca some problems with his runs. 7/10

Giroud: Was good when the ball was on the air, but he didn’t combine well with Chelsea’s frontmen. 5/10

Morata: Came on for Giroud and added a different dimension to Chelsea’s attack, but it wasn’t easy against Barca’s choked defence. 5/10

Zappacosta: Replaced Moses for the final quarter of the game and he was lively. Shored up the right side of Chelsea’s defence and also threatened going forward. 6/10

Pedro: Came on late in the game for Hazard.
