A very lacklustre display from Chelsea against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium as Antonio Conte’s men lost the game 1-0.

See how the players are rated from the game

Courtois: Didn’t have much saves to make in the game, but did his bit and was unfortunate to concede such a sloppy goal early in the second half. 6/10

Azpilicueta: Solid game from the captain as Chelsea’s defence looked solid against the free scoring Manchester City side. 6/10

Christensen: Assured display from the Dane, but unfortunately for him his poor clearance let Chelsea concede a very sloppy goal just after the restart. 5.5/10

Rudiger: Very strong performance in defence. Made it tough for City’s attack. 6/10

Drinkwater: Quite a decent performance in the middle of the park. 6/10

Fabregas: Was surprisingly poor on the ball and couldn’t exact much pressure when the team were defending against City. 5/10

Moses: Was pegged in his half in the first half and wasted a good chance in the second half. 5/10

Alonso: Didn’t do much going forward and also went to sleep as Bernardo Silva went past him to score City’s only goal. 5/10

Pedro: Had a poor game as he ruined some of Chelsea’s counterattacking opportunities with some wrong passes. 4/10

Willian: Didn’t have much time on the ball to show his danger. 5/10

Hazard: Was frustrated with the game as Chelsea sat deep and left him isolated upfront. Was taken off late in the game. 5/10

Giroud: Replaced Willian on the 78th minute and gave Chelsea a focal point. 5/10

Emerson: Came on for Pedro with eight minutes left of the game.

Morata: Came on late in the game for Eden Hazard.
