Chelsea star Eden Hazard looks set to finally put pen-to-paper on a new deal at Stamford Bridge according to a report by Mundo Deportivo.
Hazard, who has been in blistering form for Chelsea this season with 15 goals and 9 assists in 38 appearances, is set to extend his Chelsea contract which expires in 2020 but on one condition.
According to the report, Hazard wants a release clause inserted in his new Chelsea contract.
Hazard’s new contract will see the Belgian earn in excess of £300,000-a-week but inserting a release clause in his contract isn’t something that might appeal to Chelsea with Real Madrid reportedly interested in Hazard.
Do you think it’s okay for Chelsea to insert a release clause in Hazard’s contract?
