David Luiz has suffered a setback in his recovery from the knee injury that has been plaguing him as the Brazilian might be out for another month.

Luiz has made just four starts since November and has been struggling with persistent pain in his knee as well as an ankle problem.

Luiz’s knee problems started from a horror tackle from Sergio Aguero in Chelsea’s 3-1 win at the Etihad in December 2016, and according to the Evening Standard, the Brazilian has visited a number of specialists in Barcelona this season in a bid to cure the problem.

Luiz’s latest setback could see him miss a month of football action, and has been ruled out of Chelsea’s next two league games against Crystal Palace and Tottenham, with the second leg Champions League clash against Barcelona.
