Ajax are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount after the 19-year-old’s impressive loan spell at Vitesse according to a report on The Sun.
Ajax aren’t the only club interested in Mount. PSV Eindhoven, Sporting Lisbon, Werder Bremen and a string of English clubs have all made enquiries about the teenager.
Mount was voted as player of the tournament as England won the Euro under-19s last year and has been voted as Vitesse Player of the Year after impressing on loan at Vitesse.
According to the report on The Sun, Ajax and German club Bremen are both keen to seal a permanent deal for Mount.
PSV reportedly want the 19-year-old to play a major part in their Champions League challenge next season after sealing the Dutch title.
Chelsea have no intention of selling Mount. His displays while on loan at Vitesse have left Chelsea considering fast-tracking Mount into the first team plans next season.
