Chelsea have reportedly opened talks with the representatives of Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes ahead of the summer transfer window according to a report on Portuguese media outlet A Bola via Metro UK.
The 23-year-old midfielder has been impressive this season, scoring 15 goals and providing 12 assists in 42 starts for the Portuguese giants and is attracting plenty of interest around Europe.
Liverpool have reportedly begun negotiations to sign the 23-year-old who has been capped four times by Portugal.
Fernandes reportedly has a release clause of £87million and Sporting Lisbon will only sell if a club meets his release clause.
Chelsea will be reluctant to part with such amounts for the 23-year-old but that hasn’t stopped Chelsea from talking with his representatives.
