A Chelsea star made the cut for PFA Team of the Year 2018 despite our disappointing season and it’s not a player many Chelsea fans would expect to be in the list.

Chelsea left wing-back Marcos Alonso made the PFA Team of the Year after scoring six Premier League goals for the Blues this season.

As expected, the PFA Team of the Year is dominated by Manchester City players with Kyle Walker, Nicolas Otamendi, David Silva, Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero making the cut.

Jan Vertonghen, Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane of Tottenham made the Team of the Year. Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea and Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah also made the Team of the Year.
