Chelsea U19s are through to the UEFA Youth League final following a penalty shootout win over Porto U19s.
Either Manchester City or Barcelona await in Monday evening’s final as Chelsea aim to win a third UEFA Youth League title in four seasons.
Chelsea took the lead after the half hour thanks to Daishawn Redan but the lead only lasted for 10 minutes before Porto hit back through Diogo Queiros.
With just ten minutes remaining, Joao Mario fired Porto in front but our U19s showed mental strength with captain Joshua Grant sweeping home from a corner to haul Chelsea level with just four minutes left.
With no winner after 90 minutes, the semi-final was decided by penalties. Chelsea goalkeeper Jamie Cumming was the hero, saving three penalties during the shootout in which Chelsea missed two.
