Chelsea have struggled for most part of 2018, and the team now have a hard fight to make it into the top four.

A lot of blame has been put on Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, but the Italian has insisted that blame should also go to the players who carry out the manager’s instructions.

“They must work, continue to work, and try to put everything in every day to help change the situation,” the Chelsea boss said.

“The players play the game, not the coach. The coach can prepare, but then the players go on the pitch to fight with the right desire and pride and will to win the game.

“We are Chelsea, and when you play or you are a coach for this type of club, you must show great pride until the end and don’t give up. Don’t give up. It’s my philosophy. I don’t want to see one person giving up.”
