After Chelsea drew 1-1 with West Ham on Sunday, many claims have made the rounds that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has left the club.

Journalist Pete O’Rourke wrote on Twitter: “Looking likely that Antonio Conte has left Chelsea.”

And it’s been claimed Conte won’t be in charge for the FA Cup clash with the relegation-threatened Saints at Wembley Stadium. And freelance radio reporter Dan Levene has shot down the claims.

He wrote on Twitter: “Antonio Conte isn’t going anywhere today, Monday 9th April (small trip to corner shop possibly excepted).

“Unsourced rumours to the contrary are no more than social media mischief.”

Daily Mirror journalist Darren Lewis added: “No, Antonio Conte has not left Chelsea.

“Told it is business as usual and no truth in suggestions otherwise.”
