Antonio Conte cut a frustrated figure on the sidelines as he watched his team lose 3-1 at home to Tottenham despite having taken the lead through Alvaro Morata.
Conte’s future at Chelsea seems to be in doubt and Gianluca Vialli, who played for and managed Chelsea from 1996 to 2000, believes Chelsea’s transfer policy has upset his former Juventus and Italy team-mate, and that the Italian can’t wait to leave the club.
“Conte can’t wait to leave Chelsea,” Vialli said on Sky Sport Italia.
“He can’t stand that they sell or buy players without consulting him. The truth is, Chelsea would like a manager who is more of a club man.”
