Michy Batshuayi has struggled under Antonio Conte since signing for the club in 2016. He wasn’t really given much of a chance by the Italian and was almost sold before being shipped out on loan to Borussia Dortmund.
The Belgian who was almost sold by the club, is now banging in the goals in Germany, and has already scored eight goals in thirteen games.
One area Batshuayi struggled while at Chelsea was his holdup play, but former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves has been impressed with his holdup play in Germany.
“He always scores goals hasn’t he,” Hargreaves said.
“The thing that’s impressed me the most is his hold up play. His hold up play has been a lot better than it was at Chelsea, bringing other players into play.
“He’s been important to Dortmund in that aspect.”
