Alvaro Morata was left out of the starting lineup for the FA Cup semifinal clash against Southampton at the Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

The Spaniard came on for Olivier Giroud with ten minutes left of normal time, and it took just 86 seconds for Morata to make his mark, with the Spaniard scoring his ninth header of the season from yet another Cesar Azpilicueta cross.

Morata admits he could have gotten another goal, and also thanked Azpilicueta for his assists,

“It was a very good match,” the striker told Chelsea TV. “I could have scored another goal at the last moment, I was a little bit unlucky but we are in the final and that’s the most important thing, we are happy.

“I always say thanks to Azpi because this year he knows where I want the ball and it’s great to have all of the assists from him.”
