According to a report on Football Italia, Italian club Juventus are interested in taking Alvaro Morata back to Turin this summer.

Morata spent two seasons at Juventus but returned to Real Madrid in 2016 after Real activated a buy-back clause in the deal that took him to Turin.

After just one season back at the Bernabeu, Morata was sold to Chelsea but the Spaniard haven’t had a great season at Stamford Bridge.

Juventus reportedly want Morata back in Turin but Morata’s wages at Chelsea could be a huge stumbling block.

Morata earns around €8m per season in London, which is more than Juve’s highest-earning player, Gonzalo Higuain, who earns €7.5m.

Despite Juve’s interest in Morata, the 25-year-old striker is definitely staying at Chelsea next season.
