Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has revealed he is determined to help Chelsea finish the season by winning the FA Cup.

“In the FA Cup everything is open,” Kante said. “I don’t want to feel as though it will be easy for us because we are Chelsea. We are fifth and they are fighting against relegation, but I think it will be an open game. In the cup anything can happen and we have to be ready to win this game.

“It’s an important game for us because as everyone knows we are not in the top four, we are out of the Champions League (places) and it’s our last chance to get a title. So to be here for a second time in two years is good, but we must get to the final and win this title.”

Kante added: “It’s always difficult to win titles in England, this season we can only win the FA Cup but it’s like that.

“I’m enjoying playing to reach our targets, it’s been a bit difficult this season but we have to learn and keep fighting to try to win something.

“We are fifth and it’s the only thing we can win, so it’s better to finish the season with one FA Cup rather than no FA Cup. If we do, it will be one target reached, so it will be good.”
