Chelsea loan army fared pretty well during the weekend as Tammy Abraham earned Swansea a point by scoring the equaliser in their 1-1 draw at West Bromwich Albion. The 20-year-old struck 15 minutes from time, rising highest to powerfully head home from a corner. Abraham started up front for the visitors and completed the full game.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek made his first start of the year for Crystal Palace in their 2-2 draw at Bournemouth and crucially played the full 90 minutes having overcome his injury trouble and will be fighting for a place in the World Cup.
Kenedy was in good form for Newcastle as they secured an impressive 2-1 win at Leicester, before being withdrawn midway through the second half.
Kurt Zouma returned from injury and came off the bench towards the end of Stoke City’s home defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
In the Bundesliga, Michy Batshuayi was on target once again for Borussia Dortmund, the Belgian opening the scoring in a 3-0 win over Stuttgart with a sweeping left-footed finish.
Charly Musonda was a late sub for Celtic in the Scottish top flight, who won 2-1 against Hamilton.
In the Netherlands, Marco van Ginkel scored the winner for PSV Eindhoven as they came from 2-0 down to win at AZ Alkmaar. The visitors scored three goals in the space of five minutes, with the midfielder completing the turnaround from the penalty spot.
Both Matt Miazga and Mason Mount started for Vitesse Arnhem in a 1-0 defeat to NAC Breda. Fankaty Dabo was an unused sub.
Kenneth Omeruo completed the full game for Kasimpasa as they beat Bursaspor 1-0 in Turkey.
In Russia, Mario Pasalic was part of the Spartak Moscow team which secured a 4-1 win against Anzhi Makhachkala.
Back to England, and in the English Championship, Ola Aina and Michael Hector started for Hull City as they beat QPR 4-0 on Saturday, with Fikayo Tomori an unused substitute.
Jeremie Boga whipped in a brilliant ball from the right-hand side for Lukas Jutkiewicz to head home three minutes from time which led to Birmingham City’s equaliser in their 1-1 draw against Burton Albion.
