Michy Batshuayi has been a hit in the Bundesliga as he has scored nine goals in 13 appearances since moving to Borussia Dortmund in January.
Morata moved to Dortmund in January on loan having struggled for games this season as Antonio Conte preferred first choice striker Alvaro Morata and also opted for Eden Hazard in a false nine position ahead of Batshuayi.
Asked about his rivalry with Morata at Chelsea, Batshuayi told Onze Mundial: “I was more of an observer.
“My competitor was a great striker, older, already a scorer in the Champions League and having participated in major competitions.
“So yeah, it was clear, I was watching a lot. There were high class players around me.
“I also said to myself: ‘If I am here too, it is because I have qualities, I just have to show them everyday’. That’s all.”
