Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has overtaken Chelsea legend Didier Drogba to become the highest scoring African player in Premier League history.
In the 2009/10 season, Drogba scored 29 goals in the Premier League for Chelsea, which was his best ever tally and the most any African has scored in the Premier League.
However, Salah scored his 30th Premier League goal of the season in Liverpool’s 3-0 victory over Bournemouth on Saturday to surpass Drogba’s record.
The former Chelsea man has been awesome for Liverpool and continues to lead Harry Kane in the race for the Golden Boot this season.
