Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois missed Wednesday’s Premier League clash at home to Huddersfield Town with a back injury, and Willy Caballero featured in his stead.
The Belgian was able to return to training today and is in contention to start in Chelsea’s final league fixture of the season on Sunday.
Antonio Conte gave a positive update on the Belgian’s condition in his press conference.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Conte said: “Today Courtois trained. He will be in contention for Newcastle. No [other] news.”
