Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata missed the 1-0 victory over Liverpool on Sunday after picking up an injury in training on Saturday.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte revealed after the game against Liverpool that Morata should recover from his injury in time to play in Chelsea’s Premier League clash with Huddersfield Town on Wednesday night.
“It’s not serious. In my mind, there is the intention for him to be in contention for the game against Huddersfield. I hope,” Conte said.
“The injury is not serious. I hope to recover him, also because today, on the bench, we had no strikers.”
