Olivier Giroud has been terrific for Chelsea in recent times, and his goals have helped Chelsea win four consecutive league games, which has now boosted our chances of a top four finish.

Olivier Giroud was again the scorer on Sunday, as his headed first half goal was all that was required for Chelsea to take the three points against Liverpool.

Victor Moses delivered a sumptuous ball for the France international with his left foot, who headed the ball powerfully to put Chelsea in front.

Speaking after the game, Giroud admitted that he understands Moses’ pattern of play and expected the cross in that manner.

“I know Vic and when he doesn’t cross the ball as his first intention, he goes on his left foot and still tries to cross it and tries to pass the first defender, and he has done it very well,” Giroud explained after the game.

“There was a small deflection and I have to be in front at the first post, and it was a great cross and I have just finished it.”
