Liverpool signed Chelsea academy product Dominic Solanke last summer much to the frustration of the Chelsea fans who rate the youngster highly, and now, Chelsea academy product Isaac Christie-Davies is set to link up with Liverpool after Chelsea opted against extending his deal, reports claim.
The 20-year-old’s contract with Chelsea expired in the summer and Liverpool are reportedly keen on signing him.
According to ESPN. Liverpool are among several clubs who have been monitoring Christie-Davies’ situation at Chelsea.
Christie-Davies was previously on trial at Liverpool in March and the Reds were impressed with the midfielder’s ability and plan for him to join the Under-23 group.
The youngster leaves Chelsea having won back-to-back FA Youth Cups and a UEFA Youth League title in 2016.
