Chelsea defeated Manchester United 1-0 courtesy of an Eden Hazard first-half goal to end the season as FA Cup champions.

Hazard’s penalty was enough to take home but the cup, but United boss Jose Mourinho believes his side deserved to win the game.

Speaking to reporters immediately after the match, Mourinho said: “I congratulate them because they won. I don’t think they deserved to win.

“But I’m a sportsman, they score one more goal than us so they get the cup. I have to do what my job says and be respectful – and not just because they were my previous club.

“But I think we deserve to win, we were the best team – that’s football.”

  1. Whatever Jose thinks about Chelsea’s win last Saturday, will not take away the fact that Chelsea were a better side and therefore got the goal that gave them the FA Cup, as end of Season Souvenir.
