Antonio Conte’s future remains uncertain and rumours strongly claim that the Italian will be sacked despite having won the FA Cup.
Chelsea were reluctant to sack him earlier in the season after Chelsea’s awful loss to Watford and Bournemouth due to fears of another huge compensation bill. However, the Blues face a £9m pay out if they decide to sack Conte this summer.
According to the Times, Conte will take a 12-month break from the game, if he gets the boot.
Conte will continue to be paid his monthly salary for 12 months until he takes another job if he is dismissed and he is now only willing to accept an extremely attractive offer as he bides his time.
Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri has been strongly linked with the Chelsea, and Conte would be paid a £9m pay out.
