A report on talkSPORT claims Maurizio Sarri is keen on signing Gonzalo Higuain if he is hired as Chelsea manager this summer.
Sarri is one of the favourites to be named as Chelsea boss if Antonio Conte gets sacked by the board after Chelsea’s dismal season.
Sarri worked with Higuain in his first season in charge of Napoli, in which the striker scored 36 league goals in just 35 games.
Roman Abramovich is reportedly interested in appointing Sarri as Chelsea’s boss this summer after the 59-year-old turned Napoli into serious title contenders in Italy. They have just finished second place in Serie A for the second successive season.
