Two months ago, Michy Batshuayi’s season ended on a stretcher amid fears that he might miss the World Cup in Russia.
Batshuayi got a serious knock while on his loan spell with Borussia Dortmund, but the 24-year-old is now fit and has made Belgium’s final 23-man squad.
The Chelsea striker took to social media to express his delight at his recovery from injury.
He tweeted: “The last time I was on a pitch I came out like this and some doctors told me that my World Cup Dreams were over (again) … today I’m going Russia.”
