Michy Batshuayi, Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois were all involved in Monday’s friendly game as Belgium defeated Costa Rica 4-1 in their last warm up game before the World Cup.
Courtois was the first goalkeeper beaten when former Fulham striker Bryan Ruiz volleyed in superbly for the Costa Ricans. Hazard then assisted the goal which was turned in by Dries Mertens for the equaliser.
Romelu Lukaku gave the Belgians a half-time lead and he made it 3-1 early in the second half.
Batshuayi was brought on 52 minutes into the game and he completed the scoring 13 minutes later, firing in from a Lukaku square pass after great work from Hazard, although our attacker was seen to be hobbling when he was substituted not long after.
