Reports from France claim that Chelsea have held talks with the representatives of Bordeaux attacker Malcom over a summer transfer.
The Brazilian youngster, 21, is seen as a hot prospect in Europe after a stellar campaign in which he scored 12 goals and laid on a further seven assists in 35 Ligue 1 appearances.
French newspaper Sud-Ouest report that Chelsea representatives have met with Bordeaux ahead of a possible deal for Malcom, though they face competition from Liverpool, according to the reports.
The report claims that Malcom’s agent Fernando Garcia – who played a key role in his move from Corinthians to Bordeaux too – is driving the prospective move and met with Chelsea bosses in London.
Bordeaux will demand a fee of €50million (£44m) for Malcom, who is also attracting interests from Liverpool and Arsenal.
