Being a Chelsea fan might be hard at this point, as we have no certainty of the club’s decision regarding who will lead us in the dugout next season. Imagine how hard it will even be for the players who don’t know the fate of their manager.
The rumours have already ‘sacked’ Antonio Conte from the job, and the Blues are operating on a rollercoaster regarding his replacement, with Maurizio Sarri, Luis Enrique, Laurent Blanc and Fulham boss Slaviša Jokanović all linked with the job that isn’t yet vacant.
The club hasn’t officially dispelled the rumours or assured Conte of his job, and have so far failed to point the next direction for the club as well, and reports claim Chelsea players are uneasy with this approach.
According to the Daily Mail, the speculation over who will take control of Chelsea next season is beginning to affect the players at Stamford Bridge and their representatives.
It is claimed the players’ agents were told at the end of the season that the managerial situation would be resolved by the end of May. But with the World Cup approaching, Chelsea are yet to make an announcement.
