Chelsea might have released Eduardo from the club after the Portuguese failed to make a single appearance for the Blues.

Premier League clubs are required to submit their official retained/released lists to the league by the third Sunday in May, which isn’t published until after two weeks.

Most contracts do not actually expire until June 30, and there’s always a chance that a certain player will re-sign with the club anyway.

But for now, Chelsea’s “released list” contains nine (9!) names, eight youngsters and backup to the backup goalkeeper Eduardo.

Eduardio has been at Chelsea for the past two years but was never given an opportunity.

See the list of released players below:

Eduardo (35)

Matej Delac (25)

Mitchell Beeney (22)

Jordan Houghton (22)

Wallace (24)

Isaac Christie-Davis (21)

Cole Dasilva (19)

Renedi Masampu (18)

Tushaun Walters (18)

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
