Diego Costa showed the beast that he is after scoring a brace for Spain in the 3-3 draw against Portugal.
Costa scored the two equalising goals for Spain after Portugal had on both occasions taken the lead through Cristiano Ronaldo.
After Cristiano Ronaldo drew an early penalty and converted from the spot in the fourth minute, Diego Costa equalised the game with a stunning solo goal in the 24th. The former Chelsea striker powerfully dribbled around two Spanish defenders and held up play long enough to find an opening, then fired a powerful strike to the corner that Rui Patricio couldn’t save.
Costa was at the right time to tap in the second goal for Spain from a Sergio Busquets header, and before his substitution late in the second half, Diego was a beast for Spain.
Chelsea fans must be drooling and wondering what would have been if the Blues hadn’t sold the powerful forward after his misunderstanding with Antonio Conte.
