Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly has been strongly linked with a move to Chelsea, with reports claiming Maurizio Sarri would want to work with the central defender at Chelsea.
Koulibaly was close to joining the Blues in 2016 and Chelsea are expected to revive their interest in the 27-year-old this summer, with rumours claiming that a bid worth £88m is in place.
The Napoli man who is currently representing Senegal at the World Cup has refused to speak about Chelsea interest, as he admits his focus is on the World Cup.
On Wednesday, Koulibaly was asked about rumours linking him with a stunning £88million move to Chelsea and said the speculation was not affecting his World Cup.
He said: “€100m, if you tell my parents this figure I think they’ll have a good laugh!
“This price is what the market dictates, I don’t think about it, I just try and do my best on the pitch.
“I don’t think for a minute about my future because we’ve worked for three years to be here and if something may confuse me during the World Cup I will leave it aside because I want to be 100 per cent focused on the World Cup.
“We’ve worked a great deal, we’re very committed and we want to be in the last 16.
“As for the rest, we’ll see later and all my team-mates should trust me and each other so I don’t give a minute to my future right now.”
Senegal need at least a draw today against Colombia to qualify from their group, having beaten Poland and drawn with Japan in their two previous games.
