Reports claim that Chelsea have agreed a contract in principle with Juventus defender Daniele Rugani.
Reports from Italy claim Maurizio Sarri is keen on bringing the 23-year-old to Chelsea.
Sarri, who is close to being named as Chelsea manager, managed the centre-back at former club Empoli and reportedly wants to work with him again.
According to broadcaster SportItalia, Rugani has given the green light to a deal worth around £3.1m (€3.5m) per season.
It is claimed Chelsea are willing to offer Juventus a fee in the region of £30.7m (€35m) to secure Rugani’s signature.
