According to reports, Maurizio Sarri’s representatives flew into London on Thursday to begin talks with Chelsea over replacing Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea is said to have agreed a three-year deal with Sarri with the option of one year, and reports claim the Italian is expected in London on Monday to finalise the deal.
Chelsea are set to reconvene for the start of preseason at Cobham in a week’s time, and it is expected that the Blues must have resolved its managerial issues by then.
Reports also claim Chelsea have agreed to pay Napoli £5m to release Sarri from his contract with the Italian side.
