Just a year after joining Chelsea, Davide Zappacosta may well be on his way out of the club as reports are already linking him with a move away from Stamford Bridge.
The Italian defender only joined Chelsea on deadline day last summer but is already being strongly linked with an exit.
Zappacosta acted as a deputy for Victor Moses in the right wing-back position and never really showed he could do better than the Nigerian. He made 38 appearances for the Blues in all competitions as the club finished fifth in the Premier League last season and won the FA Cup.
Reports claim Inter Milan have identified the right back as a top target this summer and according to Sky Sports, the Italian side has met with his agent at their headquarters in Milan.
Reports also claim that Chelsea are prepared to sell Zappacosta, who is contracted to the club until 2021, for £17.5m, over £5m less than they paid for him last August.
