Just a year after moving to Chelsea from Torino, Davide Zappacosta has now been linked with a return to Italy, with reports claiming Inter Milan are interested in signing the 26-year-old.

Sky Sports claimed on Wednesday that Inter had met Zappacosta’s agent at their headquarters in Milan and were determined to secure a deal.

However, Zappacosta insists he is ‘only thinking about Chelsea’ amid speculation he is set to join Inter Milan.

Asked about the speculation surrounding his future, Zappacosta, who made 22 Premier League appearances last season, said: “I just want to have a great season, regardless of where I play.

“Inter? The interest is pleasing but I don’t know anything about it and I’m only thinking of Chelsea.”
