Ethan Ampadu is part of Maurizio Sarri’s pre-season squad that went to Australia and was part of the squad that defeated Perth Glory 1-0.

Ampadu has a close relationship with David Luiz, and the Brazilian calls Ampadu his little brother and it is clear they have a close relationship beyond their distinguishable hairstyles.

Ampadu said about Luiz: “He’s helped me a lot. Even after the game on Monday he pulled me over and gave me a quick chat about things.

“He will help anyone and everyone, which is good for me to be around, especially being young.”
