Chelsea are set to complete the shock signing of 38-year-old goalkeeper Rob Green according to a report on Daily Mail.
Green will reportedly undergo a medical on Wednesday afternoon ahead of his proposed move to Chelsea after agreeing personal terms with Chelsea.
Chelsea are signing the goalkeeper to boost our homegrown quota and the 38-year-old is expected to sign a short-term contract and provide competition as the third-choice goalkeeper.
Green was released by Huddersfield at the end of last season having failed to play a single game.
Chelsea needed to improve the number of homegrown players in the squad after allowing Jamal Blackman to join Leeds on loan.
